Why I choose to study Japanese

Japanese culture and literature intrigues me since I was in junior high school. Haruki Murakami's works have always been an inspiration for me whenever I want to escape the real world and dive into the imaginary place that he creates. Keigo Higashino is also one of my favorite authors as I enjoy reading his detective novels and doing deductive reasoning by myself. Moreover, when I chooses a relaxing place to travel, Japan is always the first one that jumps into my mind. I have been to Japan for five times and enjoy the every single time that I was there with its food, people and special festivals. Therefore, I would love to learn Japanese as it would be the communicative tool for me if I go to Japan again and also as a way to understand Japanese culture more.
